Umaibo Review!!

I received Umaibo in a previous Japanese snack box from Ebay and just had to have more so I bought this 20 piece pack from Ebay Seller, James. I got this pack at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review. 

Salami: 5/5

This tasted JUST like salami, it's sweet, has a mild onion flavor, and it's SO good!! Salami is one of my favorite flavors. I'd definitely buy again!

Yakitori: 4/5

This one tasted like grilled chicken slathered in a delicious combination of barbecue sauce and teriyaki sauce. I loved every bite!! I will be buying more of this also! 

Chicken Curry: 5/5

WOW!! That was all I could say after biting into this one. It flooded my mind with memories of when my mom used to make homemade curry chicken from scratch with rice. It literally tasted like I just bit in to some fresh out of the pot, steaming curry chicken. I will definitely be buying more of this flavor as it's taste is unbelievably realistic!!

Shrimp Mayonnaise: 5/5

Looking at the flavor alone will make most people say "Eww!" or not want to try it. I saw it and blurted out "Eww" and loved it! This was delicious. It has a very fishy taste. It tasted more like a combination of fried flounder and catfish. If you're a fan of fish, this is for you! I will be buying more as my daughter and I fought over the last bite lol!

Teriyaki: 2/5

Tasted like Ramen teriyaki sauce, just the sauce. It was a different taste, I don't think I'd eat this one often. It was good, but not for me. If you're a hardcore teriyaki sauce lover, much like hot sauce drinkers lol, this is for you!

Corn potage/ Corn Soup: 5/5

Oh my goodness!! I'm a corn fanatic lol and this tasted just like sweet corn!! This is another flavor that I will be repurchasing!!

Pizza: 5/5

This was amazing! It tasted just like a meat lovers pizza with slightly burned crust!  I absolutely LOVE my pizza that way. Another thing it tasted like was the Combos snack you would find in gas stations. I'd definitely eat again!!

Sugar Rusk: 4/5

This tasted just like puffed candycorn! I'm not a big fan of candycorn, but this was good. This wouldn't be my go to flavor, but I'd definitely eat it again.

Grilled Octopus: 4/5

When I opened it, I noticed it had a very sweet smell. It tasted like the aroma of a fresh seafood shop. It had a hint of calamari and octopus flavor, but it was very faint. It's an acquired taste, but I wouldn't mind eating it again.

Cheese: 3/5

My family and I had a good laugh after we figured out what this one tasted like. It literally tasted like a sugar covered Cheeto. It isn't a favorite, but it wasn't bad. My daughter loved it simply because it was sugary sweet. I'll be buying more of this one for her lol! 

Salad: 5/5

You know how when you eat something or go to say something and can't find the correct words to describe whatever it is? Well that's what happened to me. I could not, for the life of me, pinpoint the taste of this one. It tastes of something I've had before, a salad with pork in some form. Grilled ham or bacon? Either way it was delicious and I'm VERY happy that I have two of them!!

As I've said above, I got this 20 pack at a discounted price for my honest review from a really sweet seller on Ebay. His name is jvb.1980 and his name is James. He made sure that I got my Umaibo in perfect condition, he was really down to earth, and kind. I'm VERY happy with my purchase and WILL be buying more. Communication was amazing, this seller is amazing, and his treats are amazing!
